Operations Director, recruited in 2001 to coordinate the Healthy Living Centre.

Sharon has been proactive throughout the years in developing links within the community, district and region to improve the standards of projects delivered.  Sharon is responsible for the day to day running of the organisation and obtaining funding to develop new projects.

Julie Baxter (full time)     

Development and Training  Manager

  

Julie Baxter was recruited in 2005, she has a wealth of experience which she utilises in her work.

Julie is taking the lead role in the development of new projects, whilst delivering OCN courses, assertiveness training and other training programmes.  

 

 

 

Nic North (30 hours)

Health Development Worker, recruited in 2008. Nic was a Health Trainer prior to joining the team and has a wide range of experience which is being put to good use in his work on the Older People's exercise programme (Active in Ageing). He also runs a Senior Circuit Class at The Salvation Army Centre. In addition Nic is the Staff Manager for Healthy Lifestyle.

 

 

 

Michelle Riach (part time)

Michelle delivers a reminiscence project for older people living in Bierley and also coordinates the domestic abuse programme supporting women across South Bradford.

Michelle is also delivering the part of our domestic abuse programme, working with victims of abuse and our alcohol programme.

Our new older people's project at the Salvation Army is run by Michelle and Jane.

Jane has taken the lead role in our family development work and also runs the Wellbeing Cafe monthly for people with dementia and their carers.

Our oral health programme for parents with children under 5 is delivered by Jane at community venues in BD4.

 

 

 

Vanessa Taylor (part time)   

Vanessa, Forest Schools Practitioner, delivering the Forest Schools programme in South Bradford.

She is also responsible for our Health MOT Checks in BD4

Natalie Woodley

Natalie is currently undertaking the 3rd year of her degree in Nutrition and Public Health, whilst working for us delivering nutrition courses and supporting our other work.
